Hey, I’m Liv - the creator behind Liv Beyond Borders, where every shot tells a story.

 

Travel changed my life, and photography gave it a voice. In March 2025, I was made redundant from my first corporate job. So, I booked a one-way ticket to Southeast Asia and finally followed what felt right. That decision sparked the beginning of Liv Beyond Borders. It was a leap into the unknown - but one that felt completely right.

But my journey started long before that - before entering the insurance industry, I completed my A-Levels in Photography, Travel & Tourism, and Business Studies, then began working as a freelance wedding and event photographer. At the same time, I worked full-time at Hever Castle, helping create unforgettable moments through weddings, events, and bed & breakfast stays.

 

Whether I was behind the camera or part of the experience, I’ve always been drawn to the emotion, the atmosphere, and those fleeting moments that leave a lasting impact. That’s the energy I now bring into the way I travel and shoot - focusing on presence, connection, and storytelling through the details that often go unnoticed.

To me, photography is more than just documenting destinations. It’s about telling deeper stories - of connection, emotion, and memory. From sweeping views to vibrant culture to the quiet beauty of everyday life, I aim to capture not just what I see, but how a place made me feel.

I believe this way of seeing the world gives others a more authentic glimpse of what to expect - and what to feel - when exploring it for themselves.
